Interested in something not listed in our calendar? Not ready to tackle it alone? Want to teach a class here?
We can teach or host classes by request, schedule permitting and when enough people express interest. Collect a few students or friends and call us at (802) 388-WOOL, or use our Contact Form!
Possible classes might be:
- Sweater projects
- Sweater design
- Finishing techniques
- Hats, mittens and socks
- Cables and multicolored projects
- Fancy stitches
- Felting projects
Need Individual Instruction?
If you are stuck on a project, bring it in! Private knitting assistance is available Wednesdays through Saturdays (other days by chance or appointment) for $25.00 per hour.
What should I know? Class Policies
All classes will be held at the Vermont Yarn Company.
You must pay for the class in advance to secure your place. If the Vermont Yarn Company cancels a class for any reason, we will refund your payment. Classes may have to be postponed due to weather conditions. If you need to cancel your spot in a class, we can only refund your payment if your spot can be filled. Class costs do not include materials unless it is stated. You may obtain a materials list, and all materials purchased at the shop for the class will be discounted.
For all classes a minimum of 2 people is required to hold a class. For a good student-to-teacher ratio we have limited enrollment to 6 people.
