Phoebe Sock

We dye this yarn here at the shop in Middlebury. The dying method we use reminds me of working with water colors. Skeins within a dye lot are very similar but not identical. Each skein is unique!

If you will be using more than one skein of hand dyed yarn for a project, you should alternate skeins while knitting thus breaking up color variations between skeins.

Phoebe Sock is perfect for mittens, scarves, shawls, hats (which I love), baby garments, and light weight tops for adults.

Fiber Content: 2 ply superwash merino
Weight: 100g skein
Length: 360m / 400yards
Gauge: 24-32 stitches per 10cm / 4 inches
Needles: 2.25-3.25mm / US 1-3

Care: Machine washable on delicate, lay flat to dry
